From the enquiry plus your line-item library comes a draft in your structure and your tone. Not generated, assembled from items you have costed before.

Common questions
- Does this work with our grown spreadsheet?
- Yes, and usually that spreadsheet is the starting point. It holds your pricing logic, just mixed up as formula and gut feel. We separate the two: what is a rule becomes a rule, what is a decision stays a decision. The spreadsheet survives as long as you want it to.
- Does our costing leave the building?
- Only if you decide it should. Costing data is the most sensitive record in the company. We build either on your own servers or in an EU environment with a data processing agreement. What sits where is settled before the build, not after.
- How long until the first quote goes out this way?
- Writing the costing down is the long part, two to three weeks for one area. The drafting itself runs in days. Realistically the first real quote goes out after four to six weeks, and for the first weeks somebody checks every line.
- What if the costing is wrong?
- Then it shows up during the check, because the maths is visible. Every item shows where it came from and from which past quote. A draft whose derivation you cannot see is not relief, it is a second risk.
